about

Matters of the heart is the second album from Donegal singer/songwriter Maria McCormack. Like Maria’s debut album ‘I Choose to Love’ it has different sounds from track to track.
The album starts of with a gypsy jazz song ‘Girl with Good Intentions and ends with a beautiful slow piano and cello lament called Unexpected Waves.
The title of the album comes from a lyric in the song Queen of the Town.
Produced, recorded and mastered by Billy Robinson in the Grooveshack recording studio in Ramelton ,Co.Donegal. With a host of incredible musicians.
